Newsletters, whether printed or electronic, provide an opportunity to share information with clients and other associates that highlights achievement and exhibits our company’s culture. Encotech News is a bimonthly electronic publication that creates an opportunity for Encotech to engage with our clients, vendors and friends of the firm and update them about the great things that are happening in our firm. The 2014 newsletters were designed to incorporate the 2013 “We shape the world you live in” brand. This transition from the gray and black format to the vibrant blue and orange has transformed this to a dynamic and engaging piece.
Our research efforts included a review of newsletters we receive regularly, as well as an industry wide comparison of content tone and aesthetics. Constant Contact is the host site for our email communications. A thorough review of the available templates and their versatility was a high priority during the planning phase. Our goal was to present the content in a simple and reader friendly way. This was implemented in two ways: layout and topic standardization.
The layout is not the typical two column format. This decision was made in accordance with our new brand standards, which call for simple presentation and ample white space. The one column format mitigates the chance of hierarchy issues that often occur with two columns
